New Infrastructure & Area Upgrades
The project will provide the following features and benefits for area residents, pedestrians and commuters:
Klondike Road will be widened to two driving lanes and a dedicated, two-way left-turn lane plus new roundabouts at Klondike’s intersections with Lindberg Road and Cumberland Avenue for improved traffic flow and safety
A five-foot sidewalk and ten-foot multi-use path will be added along the east and west sides of the street, respectively, for improved pedestrian safety and recreational opportunities
Two drainage structures—one near Klondike Elementary School and one near Venetian Blind—will be replaced for enhanced stormwater capture
Project Phases & Road Closures
The intersection of Klondike Road and Lindberg Road is scheduled to close on September 4, 2018.
